My Research Program

I use a novel dCas9-guided proximity labeling system of my own design, TurboCas, to interrogate protein-DNA interactions in a dynamic and site-specific manner. My current research interests are:

  1. Using proximity labeling and long-read sequencing to understand the regulation of transposable elements

2. Regulation of cellular heat stress response by m6A methylation
